Defend against 9 waves of beetles who are attacking your hill from... the right side! :D
Mouse/keyboard only. Fullscreen recommended.
Minimal/bad gameplay, unfortunately my teammate who was going to do the AI got sick and so it suddenly became a solo project late in the week. No audio.
I wanted to try to animate legs and I feel like it went a lot better than I hoped for my first attempt. Feedback welcome about those especially, but also anything else! Pretty happy with the environment as well but height map is jank and would have loved to polish more (I'm sure everyone feels the same?). Submitted with 10 minutes left!

The look of the game is really cool and is what made me click on it, sad to hear about the development issues, but you aced the leg animations and the ant head turning I really liked too! the textures and the environment are really nice!
